【Unused】Kagawa Lacquerware Traditional Craftsman Akira Takagi Production Oval Serving Plate (Inner Vermilion) 31cm Natural Wood Genuine Lacquer

# Nosori's Pottery & Crafts Here

This is a beautiful oval-shaped serving plate by Koki Takagi, a master of traditional crafts and Kagawa lacquerware.

Mr. Koki Takagi graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts and has received numerous awards for his work.

The exterior features a calm, deep hue, while the interior is a vibrant vermilion (uchishu), creating an elegant contrast with the characteristic luster of lacquerware that will beautifully adorn your dining table.

Crafted by carefully layering natural wood with natural resin (urushi lacquer), you can feel the warmth and lightness unique to genuine lacquer when you hold it. It is perfect not only for serving food but also for special occasions such as New Year's or entertaining guests.
