A beautiful early 20th-century Art Nouveau clock by New Haven Clock Co., U.S.A., featuring a striking figural case with Eros (Cupid) holding a bow surrounded by flowing organic lines and floral motifs characteristic of the Art Nouveau movement. The sculptural case has a warm aged gilt finish with attractive antique patina acquired over more than a century. The original New Haven dial retains its period character and includes a subsidiary seconds register at the 6 o’clock position.
