Vintage MCM Era Wood Wall Clock - 3D Clock features Decorative Kitchen Wood Bowl & Utensils - Metal/Brass/Glass Clockworks Case  * Self-Starting Electric wall hanging mount with standard 110v brown cord. * Clock movement by Lanshire, Chicago, ILL. - Made in USA  Very nice novelty wood kitchen clock that works great & runs quietly and smoothly. I've tested it twice ; once for over a week, and a 2nd time for about 3 weeks & both times it kept the same time as my electronic digital clock I put it next to for comparison.  Measures 10.5 inches tall x 13.5 inches wide 7 sits away from the wall about 4.5 inches. The base bowl of the clock sits on top of another bowl-shaped block. All are finished very nicely and smoothly in a medium-dark stain. I'm not entirely sure what the wood is - probably maple or poplar for that era.  The clock case is made of metal with a brass face and rim, and the cover is convex bubble glass. You can adjust time on the back with the turn button that is provided. Hardware for hanging is also well attached. The cord is original & in good condition & the plug is the standard 110v double prong.  Sourced from a lovely Mid-Century Era home where it was well cared for and not subjected to smoking. Nice and clean, no damage or old repairs noted. The quality is not comparable to new plastic novelty clocks..... you can feel it and see it.
