Ceramic Beige Floral Trinket Box w lid Glossy Finish, EUC

This is an oval ceramic trinket box featuring a high-gloss beige and peach glaze with deeply ruffled, crimped edges. The lid is decorated with a hand-painted floral spray in tones of brown, peach, and soft green.  Trinket boxes like this were popular decorative items produced in mid-century America and Japan for vanity use. They were commonly marketed as dressing table accessories for holding small pieces of jewelry or hairpins. Today, collectors seek them out for their charming mid-century aesthetic and delicate pastel coloring.  Measurements approx 6x5.
