Description
Vintage 1948 San Alfonso Retreat Manual featuring a black textured cover with gold-tone lettering. This Catholic devotional includes an Imprimatur by William A. Griffin, Bishop of Trenton, dated January 14, 1948. The manual contains indulgences cited from the official Preces et Dia Opera printed at Rome in 1938. A significant piece of mid-century religious ephemera, it shows heavy wear consistent with age and use, including a detached or loose binding from the outer cover and significant paper loss/residue on the inner endpapers. Perfect for collectors of theological texts or historical Catholic artifacts. • I ship quickly and carefully • All photos are of the actual item and were taken by me. • You will receive exact item pictured. • From smoke free home. • Shipping from Edmonds(Seattle area), Washington.
