Vintage Bad to the Bone Dog Needlepoint Tote Bag Canvas Bones DT02 1990s

A wonderfully fun vintage hand painted needlepoint canvas designed to create a Bad to the Bone dog-themed tote bag.  The large central panel features rows of golden-brown dog bones punctuated by the phrase BAD TO THE BONE in rusty red lettering. A small black-and-white outlined rectangle near the bottom appears intended as a personalization area—perfect for adding a favorite dog's name or initials.  Above the main bag design are coordinating black striped and checkerboard sections that appear to be intended for the bag handles and finishing details, making this much more than a standard rectangular pillow canvas.
