✨ STUNNING RARE FIND ✨ Authentic vintage Marjorie Baer San Francisco statement dangle brooch / pin. Handcrafted during the mid-to-late 1980s / 1990s, this gorgeous piece epitomizes the iconic Northern California modernist art jewelry movement.  Features a multi-tiered, kinetic geometric design consisting of a prominent textured top chevron, an asymmetrical stepped horizontal bar, a textured elongated panel, and a polished ring charm with a hanging tag accent. The pieces are fully articulated, giving the brooch wonderful structural movement when worn!  DETAILS: • Authentic Hallmark: Stamped with the official BAER SF © oval cartouche on the reverse side. • Materials: Mixed base metals including heavily patinated bronze, golden brass, and silver-tone accents featuring signature hand-hammered textures. • Clasp: Traditional rolling safety catch in excellent, smooth working condition. • Measurements: Substantial statement size! Measures exactly 4.5 inches in total vertical length and 2.25 inches wide at the top chevron.   Excellent vintage structural condition with a secure clasp.  The front features the artist's original, gorgeous deep antiqued patina.  The reverse side shows natural age-appropriate tarnish and areas of verdigris buildup (greenish/blue oxidation common to vintage copper and brass alloys).  It has been gently wiped with a dry jewelry cloth but left in its authentic vintage state to protect the integrity of the design.  Not to be cleaned with chemical silver dip.
