Description
This is a Patagonia R1 Pullover from Fall 2019. I purchased it at the Patagonia store in Kamakura.
Initially, I used it as an insulating layer for mountain climbing. It was incredibly durable, and the deep zipper was very convenient.
After purchasing it, my health declined, and I could no longer go to the mountains. So, for the first couple of years, I only wore it a few times a year as casual wear. After that, it's been sitting in my closet.
It has some signs of wear and tear from use, but it's reliable for climbing and I believe it can still be used vigorously. While recent active fleeces have good breathability, they are quite fragile and cannot withstand rubbing against rock faces, so this type of garment is ideal for strenuous mountaineering. I think it would be comfortable worn over an OMM Core.
