Vintage McCoy Style Peacock Wall Pocket Planter Vase Blue Teal Glaze USA MCMBeau
McCoy Sfyle
Beautiful vintage mid-century American art pottery wall pocket planter shaped like a regal, stylized peacock. This piece features a striking embossed feather fan tail that forms the body of the hanging pocket cavity. It is finished in a vibrant, glossy turquoise/teal drip glaze with wonderful depth and multi-tone blue highlights. The back spine of the planter features an incised U.S.A. stamp near the structural anging hole. The bottom foot of the planter is dry, unglazed smooth white clay and contains no manufacturer or mold marks. This style, clay composition, and marking are highly characteristic of 1940s–1950s Ohio Valley pottery production and are frequently attributed by collectors to McCoy Pottery or Cameron Clay Products (CCP). This Vintage McCoy Style Peacock Wall Pocket Planter Vase in Blue Teal Glaze is a charming piece of Mid-Century Modern decor. Made of ceramic in California, this original planter features a peacock design, glossy finish, and teal blue color reminiscent of the 1960s era. With its stylish and unique design, this vase adds a touch of vintage flair to any indoor space. Measurements (Approximate): Height 7, Width 5.5, Depth 3.5, Weight 1 lb 2.7 oz.
