Brooklyn Flea Purchase / One-of-a-kind Artist Table / NY
299.00 $
Description
This is a one-of-a-kind table purchased at Brooklyn Flea, an artist's flea market held in Brooklyn, New York.
It was exhibited as a hand-painted piece by a local artist at the time, and it has a unique presence that you won't find in Japan.
The wood is solid and heavy, and its shabby texture instantly transforms any space into art.
I purchased it about 10 years ago, and when it was shipped from New York to Japan by sea freight, one of the legs became slightly wobbly. (There was a trace of glue overflow from the time of purchase, which I didn't mind as I considered it part of the art.)
*Please refer to the last image.
It has been used without any issues as a display table.
(There are no strength issues as long as no one sits on it.)
Dimensions:
Top: 60 x 60 cm / Height: approx. 58 cm
It is highly suitable for display, store fixtures, and as a prop for photography.
It has the presence of an art piece that mass-produced furniture cannot replicate.
Perfect for those looking for a one-of-a-kind table.
*Please feel free to discuss the price.
*The country of origin and production year are unknown, but it was purchased as an artist's piece.
