Description of the Design
This poster was drawn for Victor Joze's novel Reine de Joie.
It is characterized by its compositional division of the screen by the diagonal line of the table and its color scheme.
Toulouse-Lautrec was also influenced by Japanese ukiyo-e prints, incorporating flat expressions and novel compositions into his own works.
His works are characterized by their depiction of people, sometimes realistically, without idealization.
