Description
F.B. Rogers Silver Co. silver on copper pitcher, model 1807. This vintage piece features a classic tapered body with a pedestal base and a decorative gadroon or rope-style border around the shoulder. The handle is elegantly curved, and the spout is well-proportioned for serving. The underside is clearly stamped with the F.B. Rogers crown and shield trademark, 1883, and Silver on Copper. This item shows significant patina, tarnishing, and wear consistent with age, including some visible copper bleed and interior oxidation, making it an ideal candidate for polishing or a rustic decorative display.
