This product is an antique early 1900s Limoges UC France MF&C Chicago sauce boat that is hand-painted transfer with blue and orange scrolls and flowers. Made of white porcelain, this gravy boat features a beautiful design and is from the time period of 1920-1949. The brand, Union Céramique, adds to its collectible value and charm, making it a unique addition to any kitchen or dining collection. Union Céramique (UC) in Limoges, France made these pieces for Marshall Fields Company (MF&C) in the early years of the 20th century. Marshal Fields was a high end Department Store in Chicago that was eventually bought out by Macys. No chips or cracks, just minor wear expected of dishes of this age. No crazing in the glaze.
