Vintage Brown Stoneware Beer Stein Heraldic Family Crest Equestrian Pewter Lid 1

Vintage Brown Stoneware Beer Stein Heraldic Family Crest Equestrian Pewter Lid 10 Inch Striking vintage brown glazed stoneware beer stein featuring elaborate raised heraldic and equestrian imagery. One side displays a detailed mounted horse and rider surrounded by raised lettering, while the opposite side features an ornate multi-part coat of arms with eagle, helmet, mantling and additional heraldic elements. Raised German wording surrounding the heraldic imagery includes references to a “Famili Stamm Wapen” and “der H. Herren,” indicating an ancestral or family coat-of-arms theme. The older spelling “Wapen” corresponds to the modern German “Wappen,” meaning coat of arms. Additional raised lettering is present but has not been fully identified, so no specific family attribution is being made. The tall tapered body has a rich mottled brown glaze with molded floral and geometric details throughout. Finished with a hinged pewter-tone metal lid and traditional ball-style thumb lift. The underside is hand marked E.S. III in red. An impressive display piece for a collector of beer steins, heraldry, European-inspired stoneware, equestrian decor or historical decorative arts. Condition Preowned vintage condition with light age-related wear. Hinged lid remains functional. No major chips or cracks observed.
