innocence Tiger Stripe Antique Record Rack with 4 Drawers, Brass Fittings, Old Furniture Storage

Solid innocence wood antique record rack with tiger grain, 4 drawers, brass hardware, old furniture storage

This is an antique record rack made of solid innocence wood, featuring beautiful tiger grain.
It was passed down from my grandfather's study, where it had been for decades, and has been carefully used.

The tiger grain appears on the front doors, drawers, and internal dividers, with its texture changing richly depending on the angle of the light. It possesses a deep texture unique to aged innocence wood, unlike modern mass-produced furniture.
Its weight and presence enhance any space.

There are 4 drawers on the right side and a double-door storage on the left.
The interior structure is suitable for organizing records, documents, or hobby collections.
The drawer knobs are old brass-type hardware, and the doors have brass handles, giving it a simple yet high-quality appearance.

Based on the tiger grain, the wood is estimated to be zelkova (keyaki) or sen.
It is estimated to be 70-90 years old and is solidly constructed, reflecting the tradition of Japanese joinery furniture.
The side panels, top panel, and internal dividers are primarily made of innocence wood, giving it a weight that is hard to find today.

In addition to being a record rack, it is also recommended as:

- Document storage for a study
- Storage for tea ceremony utensils or old books
- Storage for watch and small item collections
- A small cabinet that complements both Japanese and Western-style interiors

As this is old furniture, there are minor scratches and signs of aging, but overall it is in a very tasteful condition.
For those who appreciate the wood grain cultivated over many years.
