Description: This is a large square handmade woven basket by Eli and Caroline Troyer, measuring approximately 12x12x4 inches. It features dual swinging wooden handles and a solid wood lid with a leather pull. The basket is woven with decorative green and burgundy accents. This item shows significant signs of age and wear throughout. The wood lid has heavy surface scratching and fading on top, along with dark staining on the underside. There is a prominent water-style stain on the exterior bottom near the makers' signature. The leather handle is intact but shows light creasing.
