Description
This item was used at my parents' home and was reportedly purchased about 50 years ago for approximately 600,000 yen. It is a rare item.
[Product Condition]
The items included are all shown in the images.
As shown in the images, there is a stain on a part of the tabletop.
There are some minor scratches, but they are not noticeable.
There is no damage that would impede use, such as wobbling.

[Product Description]
This is a rectangular Irori (hearth) table that combines Japanese traditional beauty with practicality.
The hearth area is lined with copper.
Although unused, the copper has developed some verdigris (Image 10). It can be removed by polishing.
The hearth can also be used as a display table, for example, by placing houseplants or storing tea ceremony utensils.
A round hole has been custom-made in the hearth to allow for electrical cords, so gas stoves, etc., can be placed there (Image 12).
The lower part of the table has shelves that can be opened from doors on both sides (Images 15~).
Chairs that were used with the table are also being sold separately.
