Gretchen Wilson Little Souls Chelsea OOAK Cloth Art Doll 1989 Vintage

Vintage 1989 Little Souls doll by Gretchen Wilson, named Chelsea. She measures about 26 tall and is a one-of-a-kind handmade cloth doll. She has lots of dusty rose yarn hair and is dressed in a floral tapestry-style jacket, gray dress, striped socks and black Mary Jane shoes. She is hand marked on the body with Little Souls, Chelsea, Gretchen Wilson and 1989. Really unusual early Little Souls doll with a great primitive folk art look.  Chelsea has a soft cloth body and face, lots of dusty rose yarn hair, floral jacket, gray dress, striped socks and black shoes. She measures about 26 tall. The original handwritten identification is still visible on the body.  She is in pre-owned vintage condition and does show age and display wear. There are some marks and light soiling to the cloth, including a small mark around the mouth/chin. The clothing has some loose threads and wear, and her yarn hair is loose and messy in places. The shoes show some wear as well. I have not tried to clean or restore her. Please see all photos for the best description of condition.  Due to the weight and size this item cannot be bundled.
