I fell in love with this piece at an exhibition and displayed it for a while, but I'm selling it because I have too many paintings.

It is in beautiful condition, but the corners of the frame are scuffed.

Pierre Doutrelleau
Born in 1938 into a family of lawyers in Arles, Provence, southern France, a region retaining its medieval charm. He showed artistic talent from the age of 13 and held his first solo exhibition in 1956 at the age of 18 (Arles). He received significant acclaim and support from his peers at Nicolas de Staël School.
While he had no specific mentor, he received advice from many artists, including Picasso. His works have been exhibited in museums worldwide, including the W. Hendry Gallery in New York and the Centre Pompidou in Paris. He creates a wonderful harmony throughout his works by layering over 20 colors. He is renowned for his sophisticated style, which features tranquil landscapes and a hidden emotional depth.
