Vintage Machine Age Art Deco red Bakelite brooch with chrome overlay. 1920’s-1930’s. The Machine Age was marked by people’s fascination with quick travel via airplanes, trains, and ocean liners. Jewelry featured geometric designs using chrome, stainless steel, mirrored glass, and Bakelite. It measures 2-1/4” by 1-1/4”. Nice piece of history!
