Description
This stunning piece is a vintage D.L. Auld Co. convertible snake mesh accessory from the late 1970s to 1980s. It functions as both a waist belt and a statement collar/wrap necklace. The snake features a specialized tension clip built into the underside of the gold-tone head. This allows it to clamp securely onto any section of the hollow mesh body, making it fully adjustable to fit various waist sizes or neck styles. It is constructed from a powder-coated, off-white/cream enameled metal mesh arranged in a raised scale pattern that mimics genuine snake skin.
