About the wire brim:
The brim of the hat has a built-in wire, allowing it to hold its shape.
Even when wearing a headlamp, if you point the brim downwards, the light will not be blocked and will illuminate your path.
About the shape:
The head shapes of Europeans and Japanese people differ overall. Even with the same head size, wearing a cap can feel awkward. Europeans: Narrow width, prominent back of the head / Japanese: Wide width, many have flat back of the head.
*Traditional running caps are often slim, and when worn by Japanese people, they can make the face appear larger.
What causes the face to look larger?
Wearing a cap narrower than your cheekbones can make your cheeks appear to protrude, making your entire face look larger.
Conversely, if the cap is wider than your cheekbones, your cheeks will appear slimmer, creating a slimming effect.
About the depth:
The position where the ears attach differs between Europeans and Japanese people.
Europeans: Ears attach higher / Japanese: Ears attach lower.
Commitment to the cap's shape:
The position where the ears attach differs between Europeans and Japanese people.
For the reasons mentioned above, we have adopted a wider brim that fits Japanese head sizes and have researched and designed a depth that sits comfortably when worn.
