ART SOUZA PARA Brazilian Folk Art Pottery Face Vessel Green Signed 5"

Distinctive Brazilian handmade art pottery vessel marked ART SOUZA PARA on the underside. This round vessel features an earthy green exterior with reddish-brown accents, multiple raised anthropomorphic face decorations, sculptural side handles, and hand-incised geometric and abstract panels. Light-colored incised lines contrast with the green surface and emphasize the detailed design. The interior displays visible pottery-forming rings and is largely unglazed. The unusual applied faces and dimensional handles give the piece a strong Brazilian folk-art and studio-pottery appearance.
