Rare 1930s 40s Lucite Flower Brooch Early Plastic Dimensional Floral Pin

Exceptional circa late 1930s–1940s floral brooch crafted in translucent early plastic/Lucite with a dimensional yellow flower and beautifully molded sweeping leaves and stem. The construction is especially striking: individually formed dimensional elements create an almost sculptural botanical design, while the translucent material has developed the warm aged character associated with early vintage plastics. The yellow petals and clear flower details give the piece wonderful depth. This is not an ordinary later plastic flower pin. Its large dimensional construction, early-plastic appearance and romantic hand-assembled floral design make it a distinctive collectible example of pre-/WWII-era costume jewelry.
