Antique gold filled brooch dating to the late Victorian to early Edwardian period, circa 1890–1915. Features a layered faceted glass center with a recessed golden inset, creating depth and light play typical of turn of the century paste work. • Gold filled construction • Oval faceted paste center • Engraved buckle/knot motif • Early C-clasp • Circa 1890–1915 Approximately 2” x 1.75” Condition: age-appropriate surface wear and minor patina consistent with over 100 years of age. Please review photos carefully. The faceted glass shows minor flea bites and edge wear consistent with antique age. The stone retains strong clarity and sparkle when moved in the light.
