Vintage R.H. Forschner Co. (Victorinox) Model 141-7 kitchen/butcher knife, made in Switzerland. Features the older Extra Quality mountain-eagle medallion stamp used before Victorinox consolidated the Forschner name into their own brand a nice detail for collectors of vintage Swiss cutlery. Wide-belly, upswept blade with rosewood handle and two brass rivets. Blade measures approximately 6.75, overall length approximately 12. Stainless steel, still holds a good edge profile. Shows honest age: light scratches and patina on the blade, natural color variation in the rosewood handle from years of use, tight and secure rivets, no cracks or chips. A solid using knife or a nice addition to a vintage Forschner/Victorinox collection.
