Handmade Cream and Red Crochet Pot Holder

A vintage handmade crochet potholder featuring a distinctive solid cream body decorated with red and white starburst spikes or Catherine wheel motifs along a stepped geometric layout.   The floral-like designs or starburst rays are beautifully intact and accented with silver. This silver accent is in all of the red thread.   All stitches look to be intact except right by the loop hanger where it appears to be tied off. Thicker stitch-work makes it safer for the heat. Approximately 5.75 by 6” in size.  Sold as is from a cat friendly, smokers home.
