Wooden Bokken, Approx. 90.5cm, Kendo, Red Oak ⑤
30.36 $
Description
Smooth wooden bokken, approximately 90.5cm long, with a rounded tip.
Due to recent circumstances in bokken production, including lumber shortages, the aging of skilled craftsmen, and rising costs, the quality of lumber has declined, and the number of bokken manufacturers in Japan has dwindled to only two or three.
This is a rare item from the now-defunct Sakura Tō-in Horinouchi Noboru Seisakusho, a bokken manufacturer.
This fine-grained red oak bokken is considered a valuable piece.
Please understand that this is a used item.
