Dumbbell Clips, Set of 6
Introducing KAMIKAZE brand dumbbell clips (spring collars). These are used to secure weight plates instead of screw collars. One of their advantages is that they can be secured quickly and smoothly without the need to screw them in like screw collars, which saves time when changing plates.
As with all dumbbell clips, the opening is made to be a snug fit, so there will be some resistance when pushing them onto a threaded shaft.
Since dumbbell clips (spring collars) are secured by the screw threads on the shaft, they may not be able to be pushed all the way in, which can cause the plates to wobble slightly, though it's usually not noticeable. While they won't come off even if you swing the dumbbells vigorously during exercises like kickbacks, if this slight wobble is a concern during movements where the dumbbell goes over your head, such as pullovers, we recommend using screw collars.
Dumbbell clips (spring collars) can also be used to secure screw collars. If you perform exercises that involve rotating the dumbbell, the screw collars may loosen. In such cases, using dumbbell clips (spring collars) on both sides can help prevent the screw collars from loosening.
[Applicable Size] Suitable for standard dumbbell shafts (and barbell shafts) with a diameter of 28mm. *Please confirm the diameter of your shaft before purchasing to be sure. [Threaded Shafts / Smooth Shafts] Also compatible with W-bars (EZ bars) and similar shafts.
[Material Composition] Metal parts: Spring steel. Clip part: Plastic.
