They are structurally excellent. The thick leather uppers are in great shape with plenty of life left. The innovative roller lacing pulleys run smooth, and the protective rubber toe rands are secure. The inner Gore-Tex lining is very clean and fully intact. The soles are in like new condition. Great boots for serious backpacking or everyday wear.
