Description
Add a touch of timeless Asian elegance to your next dinner party with this set of 10 vintage hand carved fish rests. Beautifully crafted from a single piece of stone, each rest features a stylized fish perched gracefully on an integrated flared pedestal base. This stone boasts a highly sought-after translucent quality. In Chinese culture the fish (yu) is a powerful symbol of wealth, surplus, and good fortune. While traditionally designed a chopstick rests, their sturdy, elevated profile makes theme equally perfect for us as western knife rests, spoon cradles or as a standalone decorative collection for a display cabinet. Excellent vintage condition. See photos for detail and measurements.
