Vintage Tea Towel Spanish Recipe Ribeye Steak 1960s Made in Spain

Vintage cotton decorative novelty tea towel - made in Spain. No tags. Would also make for good wall art. In very good vintage condition, no visible holes or tears. There could be faint stains from use, but I don’t see any. Measures approx 23” x 23”. There are some minor manufacturing things worth noting - uneven bottom hem, loosely hemmed/wrapped edges, overspray of printing ink black micro spots - see pictures. Spanish text featuring a French dish - Ribeye steak with maître d'hôtel butter. In the middle of the century, Ribeye steak and herb butter transcended strict borders to become a universal symbol of continental dining style, making it a fun, recognizable subject for a decorative Spanish kitchen towel. Loosely translated to English via google, the towel reads:  “Entrecôte Maître d’Hôtel Recipe – Flip them over and… 50g of salt and… I feel sorry for the man with his meat. Grill the entrecôtes(ribeye steak) for a few minutes… serve by placing Maître d'Hôtel butter—made by mixing butter, a teaspoon of chopped parsley, pepper, and a few drops of lemon juice—on top of each one, and surround with potatoes and watercress.”  We are a non-smoking, pet-friendly home.   For the scent-sensitive - we do a pretty good job of creating a scent neutral setting, still though, item could have smells from other items it has been stored with. We always cleaning/sanitizing your second-hand goods.
