Damaged Oshima Tsumugi, Yamato Bespoke, Floral Pattern, Blue & Black Kimono

Suitable for a wearer approximately 155cm tall.

This kimono was made by Yamato several decades ago. It has never been worn and still has the basting threads attached.

It was stored in a kimono chest wrapped in a paper wrapping (tatou-gami) without any maintenance such as airing in the shade. There are stains on the inside, and faint, whitish stains can also be seen on the outside. There is a musty smell. The paper wrapping also has stains, so please consider this a kimono with age-related stains from storage.

It likely requires some care before it can be worn as a kimono. The pattern is beautiful, even as a handmade fabric or material.
