Vintage Decorative Wax Springerle Style Wall Plaque Folk Art Faux Wood Relief

Inspired by traditional European Springerle molds, this decorative wax wall plaque features eight hand-carved folk figures arranged in four panels with a convincing faux wood finish. While reminiscent of antique cookie molds, the hanging cord, painted surface, and substantial size suggest it was created as a decorative object celebrating the craftsmanship and imagery of historic baking molds rather than for culinary use. The plaque measures approximately 18 inches tall by 4½ inches wide and remains in very good vintage condition, showing light age-related wear consistent with its history. A distinctive piece of European folk art that brings warmth, texture, and character to a gallery wall or collection of traditional decorative objects. We carefully select every item and believe in transparency. In the case of vintage or pre-owned items, we don't always know their full history, but we have high standards and won't list or sell anything we wouldn't use ourselves. All items come from a smoke-free home.
