Aluminum Alloy Blade

Handle: Genuine wood with two mekugi (pins), antique-style same (rayskin)
Handle Wrap: Black cotton blend, twisted wrap
Fittings: Black lacquer finish
Kashira (Pommel):
Tsuba (Guard): Rough Wave Dragon design
Menuki (Ornament): Rain Dragon design
Habaki (Blade Collar): File-marked finish (brass)
Seppa (Spacer): Decorative finish
Saya (Scabbard): Black lacquer finish
Sageo (Cord): Wisteria-colored Sanada braid

This sword has a special aluminum blade with a groove, making it lightweight and well-balanced. It is ideal for stage combat, as well as for iaido practitioners (women and youth), kenbu (sword dance), cosplay, and as an alternative sword for iaido when the elbow or wrist is injured. It is also an excellent piece for display, and is a truly superb sword.

Please take this opportunity to add it to your collection.

* The sageo can be changed to black thread upon request.

This sword has not been used for stage combat, but there are small scratches on the blade and scabbard. The scabbard has been repaired (painted) for impact damage, but is generally in good condition. Please check the images and understand that this is a used item before purchasing.
